SEDIGS was set up back in the mists of time to enable golfers in the Immigration Service to socialise over a game and a lemonade or two after.
In the nineties it was decided to institute an Order of Merit, and today there are seven singles competitions (all of which qualify for the order of merit from 2007), and several doubles competitions which do not.
The society has a wide membership, and if you work for Immigration in the South East and play golf you are a member. Guests also play with us, and may be elected to membership if they play on a regular basis. Membership is £5 per year.
The idea of the society is to meet and have fun, and on the following pages there are details of how successful members have been. Please keep watching this space!
21.04.12
Due to the shortened season the committee has decided to limit the Order of Merit to the best 4 of the 5 competitions.
12.04.12
Results for the first two competitions are now up.
Handicaps have now been adjusted after the CSSC Trophy.
